Our guest speakers will be from the Syracuse Chapter of The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. They will do a general overview and will answer any questions you may have.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, our minds naturally turn to matters of the heart. That is why February is designated as American Heart Month –- to remind all of us that we need to make heart health a priority in our lives. We will have a “Medical Minute” at our meeting to lightly discuss the five facts that everyone should know about cardiovascular health and heart disease prevention.
