Thanks to all the New York State Women, Inc. members who came to the Women’s Day at the New York State Fair. It was a great day, and we were able to connect and network with a lot of women from around the State. Our group was one of 14 groups that participated in the mini-fair that highlighted women’s issues. At our table, we handed out literature on our group and Pay Day candy bars to highlight the issue of pay equity. We also raffled off a drawing for a free State membership, which was awarded to Maria Wiklund from Syracuse. Our hard work was highlighted on the local news in Syracuse.
