Sisterhood organizations participated in a fair and by presenting as a panelist or guest speaker at workshops. The women of the Sisterhood presented on positions in business, health, environmental science and government and other topics such as “You are the Architect of Your Life,” by Naomi Jones, Life Coach; “Brave Enough to Succeed,” by Fran Reali; “Dressing for Success,” by Rosemarie Cavanaugh , Nutritionist; “Non-traditional jobs in STEM,” by Katia Gordon , Director, SI Regional and Community Affairs, Con Edison; Financial Information for High School Students,” by Joan Wilton, Financial Advisor; and “Social Media Marketing.”

The April Board Meeting will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 in Rome NY at The Griffss Institute.

In this day and age where so many working women are now responsible for their aged parents, or their own ill children or siblings, or perhaps they are thinking of their own choices as they age, it is more important than ever to have knowledge of what help is available to you and yours.

Meet the women of the NYS Women's Inc. St. Lawrence Chapter and learn more about what NYS Women's Inc. has to offer.

Join St. Lawrence Chapter on February 8, 2018 for our monthly meeting.

We will be kicking off 2018 with a fun and relaxing post- "Holiday Gathering".

Our gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel (formerly Hotel Utica). Our meeting will start with networking at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner off the menu at 6:00 pm. We will meet in the private dining room off of the Chophouse restaurant. We will be doing a fun holiday gift exchange!

Our January Meeting will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018, starting with networking/cash bar at 6:00 PM followed by the speaker at 6:30, dinner at 7:15 and the general meeting.

During August 2017 Lakeshore Chapter members, along with members of Dorothy’s family joined us for a surprise 97th birthday celebration at St. Columbans on the Lake. Dorothy was also given a membership certificate reflecting her 62 years as a member of Lakeshore Chapter, NYS Women, Inc. (previously BPW/NYS, Silver Creek Local Organization).
