2012 – 2013 Award Recognition Program

Region Awards for the Regions – For these awards, the Region Director and/or Assistant Region Director will nominate their Region, or another Region, for one or all of the following three awards:

  1. Youth Leadership Award – Awarded to the Region that has shown the strongest dedication to the Youth Leadership Program as determined by the Youth Leadership Chair and the EC.
  2. Programming Award – Awarded to the Region that has done the most creative programming as determined by the EC.
  3. Advocacy Award – Awarded to the Region that was the most involved in advocacy at the local or State level as determined by the Public Policy Chair and the EC.

Chapter Awards as Nominated by the Region – For these awards, the Region Director and/or Assistant Region Director will nominate a chapter, or chapters, in their Region for one or all of the following three awards:

  1. Youth Leadership Award – Awarded to the Chapter that has shown the strongest dedication to the Youth Leadership Program as determined by the Youth Leadership Chair and the EC.
  2. Programming Award – Awarded to the Chapter that has done the most creative programming as determined by the EC.
  3. Advocacy Award – Awarded to the Chapter that was the most involved in advocacy at the local or State level as determined by the Public Policy Chair and the EC.

Nominations must be received by Amy Kellogg at [email protected] no later than May 1, 2013. Nominations must be done using the appropriate Award nominating form, which is available on the web site. The nomination form asks for a short description of the nomination. Nominators may attach additional information regarding the nominee.
