New York State Women, Inc. fully supports the Women’s Equality Agenda! We have been supporting it for decades, as all of the items on the Women’s Equality Agenda are applicable to the Legislative Platform that we have been supporting for many years.  We are proud to join with other women’s organizations, businesses, and labor groups to support the passage of legislation that implements the Women’s Equality Agenda. We urge our State Senators and Assembly Members to support this legislation.

When women suffer discrimination and injustice, not only are the women affected, but their children, spouses, and society as a whole are impacted. By passing legislation that implements the Women’s Equality Agenda, New York State will set an example for the whole country in protecting the rights of women as full members of our work force and society.
