The Susquehanna Chapter Awarded their 2017 Women Helping Women Scholarships

The NYS Women Inc., Susquehanna Chapter is proud to recognized two young women in this year’s Women Helping Women Scholarship essays. On Wednesday March 22, 2017 at the Women Ties event held at Pheasant Hill Country Club, the “Women Helping Women” Scholarships were awarded To Jaclyn Forbes, Ithaca Grad student specializing in the Hearing and Speech Sciences for $1,000.00 and Lauren Michelle Pringle, PreMed student attending SAGE College of Albany for $500.00. The women wrote an essay on a Historical woman from Tioga County who made an impact on society and who they could identify with. This scholarship is open to women 18yrs and older who are furthering their education, re-entering the workforce and need to update skills, or renew a professional license.
