Racewalker Competes and Scores Big in State-wide Career Recognition Competition

In her speech, Erin stated, “I am fighting for equality in the world of race walking. I am fighting for women to have a 50K in the Olympics. My goal is to compete on a men’s 50K international team until a women’s team becomes available. There are still so many forms of inequality in our lives, and women who are struggling to overcome them. My way of fighting inequality is through perseverance, hard work, determination, and drive.
