October 2013-New York Women in Business Month

Author: Communications Committee/Sunday, August 11, 2013/Categories: General

Has your Chapter made your plans to observe our annual event yet?    Many Chapters may already  have a full schedule already developed for 2013-14, but even if you have a fully developed program, there is still time to incorporate some of the suggested programming into your October Chapter meetings.  Posted on the website you will find information and ideas for holding an event,  as well as a camera ready ad Chapters can use to publicize New York State Women in Business Month this October.

You are invited to participate on the state level too.   In honor of our own members, there will be a display in the vendor area at the 2013 Fall Board Meeting, October4-6th in Waterloo, NY.   All NYSW, Inc. members are invited to submit a photo   (of yourself,  business ad info or building location)  no larger than 4" x 6"   along with your name, your Chapter name, and the name and location of the business you are associate with.   Be sure to include a 50 word or less description of your business or the business you wish to recognize.    Submission is for all members in business, not just women business owners.

The submissions will be mounted and displayed for the entire weekend.   Submit your information via email to me at [email protected] or mail to me at 3406 McKinley Parkway, Apt. C-11, Blasdell, NY 14219 by September 20, 2013.    And, personally here's a salute to YOU and the contributions you have made to business in New York State.
