Event date: 11/16/2021 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Export event

Our speaker will be Christine Larkin from McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center.  Chris is the Onondaga County Child Fatality Review Team Coordinator and will share with us information on a group called Mothers and Children in Crisis, Inc.  This group has the simple goal for mothers to take care of their children.  For some mothers, this requires a safe place to live while receiving intensive substance abuse treatment and a safe environment for infants and young children to grow and learn in a warm home.

This is a not-for-profit organization comprised of representatives from a broad range of community stakeholders who intend to see a residential substance abuse treatment center for women and their minor children operated in Onondaga County.  The residential center will provide a safe and supportive environment for the women and their dependent children.
