Since June 1989, the NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) corporation has awarded 146 Fellowships ranging from $1000 to $1500 each to women enrolled in graduate study at New York State Colleges and Universities.

The 6th Annual NYS Women Inc Conference is scheduled for May 29-31, 2015 in Buffalo NY. Learn our accomplishments for this year and goals for next year. You’ll become re-vitalized; when you return to your chapter, plan on accomplishing great things!

This is the symbolic day in 2015 when women’s salaries catch up to men’s earnings from 2014.

This year we are focused on passing the equal pay portion of the Women’s Equality Act which is coming up for a vote as early as the week of April 20! A separate bill –A6075/S1 – was introduced by Assembly member Michele Titus in March.

Earlier this week on the The Daily Show, Jon Stewart cited a new study from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) that predicts women won’t reach pay parity with men until 2058.
