Each of us has dreams and aspirations when it comes to our careers but we, women particularly, sell ourselves short when it comes to the workplace. We know that we will likely be responsible for most family obligations and sometimes don’t take the leap forward because we know we might need to take a time out. Dr. Kimberly DeSimone will discuss the importance of and tips to staying relevant when you need to take time away to raise children, take care of a parent, pursue a career change or any number of other life-altering situations we find ourselves in. Her insights will help change how you look at a “leave of absence.”

Join us Monday, November 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harbor Center downtown. This event is the first of several intended to bring the members of Region 8 together to network and share insights on topics of interest to all. Members and non-members are welcome.

Location: We are in the Rinks Meeting Room

Parking: There are a number of parking ramps with that area. The Harbour Center has its own parking ramp on Washington. There is street parking, the parking ramp attached to the Key Bank Center, along with a number of other surface parking lots in the area.
